You’re Beautiful Now Feel It! #MarcelleMoms

Growing up, my Mum didn’t wear makeup often. On the rare occasions she was “putting on her face” to go out, I’d hurry into the room to lie on her bed with my feet kicking in the air and witness the transformation. There was something magical about the process. Within a short period of time, our loving Mummy would go from her housecoat and rollers into this stunning glamified lady. Makeup to me was simply beautiful.

This feeling has continued to bloom over the years, there has never been a time when applying my cosmetics hasn’t made me feel better about myself. Not in a oh-you-are-so-hot way, more of an exhale, knowing that I’m ready for the day/evening or event. It’s somewhat like placing the star on the Christmas tree each time, just that final touch where I know I’m ready and I feel as beautiful as I am.

Nowadays I understand the importance of skincare, this has become more important as I passed my mid-twenties and began to see changes in my skin. Nobody wants to end up with leathery skin, so what’s a girl to do but to take care of what God gave her!

As a blogger, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands and my top choice for cosmetics and skin care has been Marcelle. Over the years I’ve become their biggest fan, this is a brand who develops their products to suit the majority of the population while keeping the price point reasonable = a perfect fit for me.

Marcelle – Beauty Without Compromise

Marcelle has been in business, creating beautiful cosmetics for 80 years here in Canada. I’ve used Marcelle since I was a teenager and as my tastes and financial budget has changed, there has always been Marcelle products to suit my needs. I’ve always been able to afford their products, they make sure that we don’t have to compromise when it comes to our beauty choices.

Marcelle really is for everyone, their products are hypoallergenic and perfume-free, this allows even the woman with the most sensitive skin to use Marcelle. They are also available at most pharmacies and retail outlets, which makes life so much easier. Who has time for added trips to pamper themselves these days?

Marcelle Beauty Ambassador

This year for the first time ever, Marcelle has chosen to announce that they have 2 Beauty Ambassadors. I am humbled to announce that I’ve been chosen as one of them!!!!

How seriously exciting is that!

Stacey from This Lil Piglet and I will be bringing you some awesome information from Marcelle and sharing on our experiences with their products. We will be getting into the nitty gritty of the skin care and beauty lines from the perspective or a real-life person.

I’d love for you to get involved, I’ll be asking for your opinions and allowing readers to choose my makeup look on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds. We will be using the hashtag #MarcelleMoms on Twitter, so be sure to hop on and tell us your cosmetic/skin care opinions and experiences.

Do me a favour and follow Marcelle on Twitter, on their Facebook Page and check out the Marcelle website to get to know them.

Get ready friends, #MarcelleMoms is underway & I’m looking for your input.

  1. You bet! So important….it’s the only one you’ll have for your lifetime! Be good to your skin, it’ll be good to you! :)

  2. I try, I have always used noxema to wash my face and do use Marcelle daily moisturizer, for years it was the only one for sensitive skin.

  3. First of all – congrats on the new partnership, I couldn’t think of 2 more perfect ladies for the job. I’m really picky with my makeup since I have such sensitive skin, I usually don’t wear much at all because of how much it irritates. So, I’ll be reading your posts with great interest.
    {and yes, I take very good care of the skin on my face and neck!!}

  4. I’m horrible about caring for my skin properly and had never heard of Marcelle before now. Congrats on being chosen to be an ambassador, I can tell you love the brand and are enthusiastic about sharing their products!
