Since 2012 I’ve had the pleasure of bringing you Stories of Recovery from Alcoholism and Addiction which are submitted by readers. These are real-life stories about their own journey…with their own addictions or family members’ addictions.

Although many of us are working hard to break the stigma associated with alcoholism and addictions, there is still work to be done. By sharing our stories of recovery, we are informing others while encouraging the still-suffering person that there is a way to find themselves.

Sober doesn’t Suck! is a place for people to share their stories of drinking, addiction and recovery openly and honestly. There is no requirement of sobriety for posting if you’re concerned about your using I want to hear from you too.

  1. I’m currently dealing with post partum depression and anxiety which has lead to serious drinking problems. I would like to hear more stories from people who have gone through this.
