It’s nice that you do have a loving family and it is a blessing.
SOme of us have toxic parents and we must make the difficult choice to not have them in our lives.
I’m so sorry to hear that Reb, I have friends in that situation and they’ve found a family among the amazing people in their lives.
There is nothing more important and special than family. One of God’s best gifts. Family is always there no matter what, beautiful post.
