  1. Oh geez, Julie! Don’t show me things like this! I don’t have the money for a trip to Ontario right now! Seriously, this looks absolutely gorgeous; what a great place for a family vacation!

  2. The area is absolutely gorgeous! I have family that lives near there (Port Syndney, Baysville, Bracebridge & Huntsville) and love it up there in the summer. I even worked not to far from MBC at Camp Mini-Yo-We when I was a teenager. May have to keep this in mind for a local mini-getaway! :)

  3. I worked here as a teen. My parents sent me, thinking it was a “nice safe christian” place for their child to spend the summer. I hated it. Forced to sit in hours and hours of church services every week, paid about $20 a week, because you know, it was volenteer work for god. The leading pastor made sick money on our slave labour. He lived in a huge million dollar home and sat at the front of the dining room insisting to be served first, before his guests. Years later I heard through the grape vine that he got caught skimming money ( possibly gossip but I heard it from a good christian girl from mbc). I hold mbc responsible for my lack of trust in any organized religious groups.

  4. I know this is an ‘oldie’, but I had to comment because often times when I search Muskoka Bible Centre on Google, I’ve seen your article pop up. We just happen to LOVE MBC :) My family has been camping there since I was a child and just last summer my husband I bought a trailer for our family and parked it at MBC. We are SO excited for what God has in store this summer!
